Chambers Hotel
Chambers Hotel Project Description:
The building was constructed around the year 1900 and the floor slabs suffered from bending and deflection issues.  The retrofit needed to be low profile due to the low floor-to-floor heights.

Solution:
The carbon-based Tyfo® SCH-41 Composite System was utilized to increase the flexural capacity of the two-way slabs at three floors.  Additionally, the composite system aided in increasing the slab stiffness in conjunction with a new concrete floor topping.

Summary:
Over 15,000 square feet of slab was reinforced within a tight timeframe prior to the work of other disciplines related to the remodel project.
