Fibrwrap Construction, Inc. began by assisting in the development of Fyfe Company's Tyfo^® Fibrwrap^®  Systems.  The Tyfo^®  Systems were initially developed for seismic strengthening of bridge columns for Caltrans. Following the successful research on column strengthening, the use of the Tyfo^®  Systems has expanded to nearly all reinforced concrete elements.

Since 1991, Fibrwrap Construction, Inc. has performed over one thousand seismic upgrades and retrofits. These projects include the first composite retrofit of bridge columns in the United States, beam strengthening, concrete and masonry wall reinforcing, clay tile masonry stabilization and lap splice enhancements.
