Project Description: The Tyfo® SCH-41 System was used strengthen the existing columns, beams and beam-column connections in order to comply with current seismic detailing requirements. The Coker remained in operation during the entire project.
Solution: The existing reinforced concrete required major repairs prior to the installation of the TYFO® SCH-41 System. After removing all of the unsound concrete, the sections needed to be rebuilt to regain their original section shape.
Summary: Fibrwrap® Construction performed all of required repairs and strengthening during normal operations. Fibrwrap® Construction worked closely with the facility to remove and replace obstacles. Areas that needed to be worked around required special detailing.
