Project Description: PWGSC engineers identified 6 timber piles under the Wallace Wharf in Nova Scotia that were split from the pile cap down to approximately one foot above the mud line.
Solution: Five layers of the Tyfo SW-1 system was applied in and out of water to the existing piles as opposed to driving new piles.
Summary: Certified Divers applied the system on the 6 timber piles within two days making it cost effective. This was one of many wharves in Atlantic Canada that the piles were strengthened by using the Tyfo Fibrwrap System.
